Dave McCormick fought for the United States of America in combat, has been tough on China his whole life, and will continue to stand up to the CCP.

LIE:

"Dave McCormick called China an ally."

TRUTH:

Dave has never called China an ally of the United States. During the 2008 financial crisis, Dave said that because both economies had major financial interests in avoiding a global economic collapse, China was behaving like ‘a responsible participant and ally’ in dealing with the financial crisis, not an ally of the United States. Dave has a long history being critical of China and warned about China’s rise in 2006.

"President Trump fired Dave McCormick."

TRUTH:

Dave was never fired by President Trump, and commercials claiming he was have been forced off-air due to their blatant inaccuracy. Dave’s positions towards China have always been in sync with President Trumps.

“China wins and Pennsylvania loses with Dave McCormick.”

TRUTH:

Dave McCormick’s work has benefitted U.S. economic and security interests by strengthening export controls on China and holding China to act responsibly in official trade and business dealings Dave participated in.

LIE:

“McCormick gave Chinese companies billions and got rich from Chinese investments.”

TRUTH:

Dave McCormick’s work has benefitted U.S. economic and security interests first and foremost. Dave McCormick fought for the United States of America in combat. He’s not afraid to take on America’s enemies in uniform or at the negotiating table. Dave’s position on China is clear: he has been tough on China his whole life and will continue to stand up to the CCP if elected to the U.S. Senate.

Mehmet Oz is China’s friend, stating he ‘loves’ working in China. He has made his fortune syndicating his show on CCP propaganda channels and through Chinese business deals.

As CEO of FreeMarkets in Pittsburgh, Dave created hundreds of jobs in PA and fought to
protect those jobs . In 2003, FreeMarkets cut 7 percent of its global workforce but none of those
resulting layoffs in Pittsburgh were ever outsourced anywhere else.
